Our national flag carrier, Air Niugini, needs to improve its service standards for the faithful paying public of PNG. Our 22 women delegates returning from the PNGCC Christian Women’s 9th Triennial Conference in Wabag have been waiting to board their flight back to Port Moresby since early this morning, receiving repeated hourly notices of continued delays.
Frequent delays and cancellations are becoming far too common with Air Niugini, raising growing concern among loyal domestic travellers about the airline’s management and the reliability of services to our local ports across the country. As the pride of our nation, Air Niugini needs a serious reset in its commitment to the people of PNG before travellers begin shifting their loyalty to other more competitive service providers.
