The United Voice of the Churches in Papua New Guinea

The Papua New Guinea Council of Churches (PNGCC) is the national ecumenical body that brings together the mainline Christian churches of Papua New Guinea. We exist to promote Christian unity, speak with one voice on national issues, and serve the people of Papua New Guinea through faith-based action. PNGCC works for justice, peace, reconciliation, good governance, and the protection of God’s creation. Guided by Christian faith and values, we engage with churches, government institutions, development partners, and civil society to address social, political, economic, and moral challenges facing our nation.

“See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms…”

Jeremiah 1:10 (NIV)

Statement by General Secretary, PNGCC

Greetings in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. PNGCC is moving forward with greater anticipation for better things to come in 2024. Hope and Faith in our Lord Jesus Christ is the only Way we can be assured of a better way of Life ahead of us. Our mission is to strive to overcome a world of Suffering and Pain by staying focussed on the wonderful Love and Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Yes there is always a way out and God himself will provide a way forward if we never fail to trust and Obey his word.

1 Samuel 12:16 (NIV)
“Now then, stand still and see this great thing the Lord is about to do before your eyes!”

We Pray that you will hold onto God’s mighty hand and see the Great things he has promised to do for you in 2025.
