Architectural Design Consultancy Services
PNGCC National Office & Accommodation Complex
The Papua New Guinea Council of Churches (PNGCC) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified, experienced, and reputable architectural consultants and firms to provide professional architectural design services for the proposed PNGCC National Office & Accommodation Complex.
This landmark project represents a significant institutional development initiative aimed at strengthening the operational capacity and national presence of PNGCC as the leading ecumenical organization serving churches and communities throughout Papua New Guinea.
The proposed development seeks to establish a modern, functional, sustainable, and culturally appropriate headquarters facility that will support administration, accommodation, training, fellowship, and community engagement activities for years to come.
Project Scope
The proposed multi-purpose complex is expected to include:
- Modern office and administrative facilities
- Residential and guest accommodation units
- Conference, meeting, and multi-purpose function spaces
- Supporting amenities and service infrastructure
- The design concept should reflect professionalism, practicality, sustainability, and the mission and values of PNGCC.
Scope of Consultancy Services
The successful consultant or firm will be required to provide professional services including, but not limited to:
- Conceptual design and master planning
- Architectural design development
- Site analysis and space planning
- Preparation of drawings and documentation for statutory approvals
- Coordination with relevant engineering and specialist consultants
- Preparation of tender documentation and optional construction phase support services
Eligibility Requirements
Interested applicants must demonstrate:
- Proven experience in institutional, commercial, mixed-use, or similar development projects
- Availability of qualified and registered architectural professionals
- Demonstrated operational capacity within Papua New Guinea or comparable environments
- Strong technical expertise, innovation, and project delivery capability
- Ability to deliver cost-effective and high-quality design solutions within agreed timelines

Interested consultants and firms are requested to submit:
- Company profile and background information
- Portfolio of relevant projects and previous experience
- Details of key personnel and professional qualifications
- Current business registration and statutory compliance documentation
- Contact details including physical address, telephone numbers, and email addresses
Evaluation and Shortlisting
All submissions will be evaluated based on the stated eligibility criteria, technical capability, relevant experience, and demonstrated capacity to undertake the project successfully.
Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted and invited to participate in the next stage of the procurement process. Detailed Request for Proposal (RFP) documents will be issued to shortlisted firms only.
